Hailing from Tameside, the band launched ‘easterlinparadox’, the first album on Radio Shed Record. The album has been featured on many radio stations including Radio Two, BBC Radio Lancashire, BBC Radio Cornwall, Manchester Radio On Line, Salford City Radio and of course Tameside Radio.

Martin Stephenson claims the band have a ‘uniquely British and Mancunian sound’. Terry Snowden and Greg Beckett from Manchester Radio rated ‘easterlinparadox’ as their album of the year and invited the roomies to play at last year’s ‘In The City’ festival followed by a prestigious follow up gig at the Deaf Institute in Manchester.

Joe Barnwell of Salford City Radio FM promoted the roomies to album of the month over three consecutive months.
